Doesn't hold humidity in the winter, when the air is dry. : 100-cigar Bally Glass Top Humidor
UPDATE: now that i've been through a winter, with low ambient humidity, i'm less happy with this item. it required constant attention to keep it humidified. in my opinion, cheap humidors are more trouble than they're worth. you're better off with a high-end humidor or else a tupperware, cooler, or wine refrigerator.

this item is available from multiple vendors thru this amazon page. i chose vendor "Cigar Extras," and i received the "Bally" model, which appears to be identical to the "Milano" model that i ordered. it was very well packed and arrived promptly, in perfect condition. also, its internal relative humidity was already 67%, as measured by my calibrated hygrometer, so it was essentially pre-seasoned!
this humidor is beautifully made, with excellent fit and finish.
i'm a big fan of natural cherry wood, so i ordered the cherry version of this humidor. unfortunately, the cherry is finished in a very red stain, which was a little disappointing to me, but others may like it.
i'm using the "HygroSet II" round digital hygrometer, calibrated with the "Boveda One-Step Calibration," and 65% humidification beads from HeartfeltIndustries. the system is working beautifully.
my last piece of advice - order a larger humidor than you think you'll need; you won't regret it!
